Lily & Seth's Wedding was a labor of Love and Community. Peggy, the Bride's mom had carefully been collecting glassware & cake plates from thrift stores for her daughter's wedding. She also lovingly with the help of her family and friends known as "The Mom Squad" created each of the adorable centerpieces and wedding arbor. Her Aunt Mary had made something like sixty, 6' pendant banners to fly all around the venue adding color and cheer.
Lily & Seth met at their wedding venue, which is better known for concerts and community outreach. It doesn't do weddings but made an exception for them. Seth's Mom Rosie, came in with her sister like the best kind of whirlwind, and added touches of flowers and hustled to move things transforming the venue from a concert hall to a place fit to be married. Whit a whole lot of help from the "Mom Squad"
This little cactus centerpiece Peggy made JUST for her new son. His only request was this tiny cactus in the wedding parties feasting table. Which I have to say came together adorably, and I loved the pop of color.
Guests enjoied some cornhole, and ate yummy tacos off Fork's Taco truck while listening to an awesome accordion player known for playing in a number of local bands. They had a number of their favorite cakes and fruit crisps from a local bakery who specializes in homestyle from scratch baked goods. I LOVE Criminal Bakery Cakes they taste as yummy ass they look!
Last but NOT LEAST Michelle Feilecan Photography captured the day beautifully, as she always does. She loves her clients, she fades away in the background and you don't feel like she's there but CLEARLY when you see the photos she was. She went the extra mile for this wedding helping when the need arose and is just an absolute love to work with. It was hard to narrow the photos to use in this blog post.
Bonus shot, because I just love their wedding rings, and the BEAUTIFUL bridal bouquet which was crafted by California Sister's Floral Design
